Howdy,
I'd like to welcome 4 new locales that we support in BrowserID since
yesterday (lt, pt-BR, rm, uk) and congratulate everyone else who made it
for the release -- great job and keep up the good work! We are already over
30 supported locales!
Next release is planned for Wednesday, March 14 (oh look, my birthday), but
we'd like to kindly ask you to finish your work by Tuesday, March 13. New
strings are already available in Verbatim and SVN and shouldn't take you
more than 15 minutes to complete.
We have 3 new strings, 2 of which are actually the same. Sorry for that,
but the server side software uses the messages.po, while the client side
code uses client.po.
9 strings are fuzzy:
- 4 shouldn't require any work, because they were badly formulated in
English ("Error communicating with server.", "Please close this window and
try again.", "Please reload the page and try again.", "This email looks
new, so let's get you set up.").
- 2 use simplified HTML code, everything else is the same ("By the <a
%s>Identity Team</a> @ <a %s>Mozilla Labs</a>", "BrowserID is the fast and
secure way to sign in — <a %s>learn more</a>").
- 1 has whitespace removed, don't forget to remove it in the translation,
too ("Finish signing into:").
Please don't forget to commit your changes to VCS under Review tab when
you're done. After 20 minutes your changes will be visible on our preview
environment at:
http://temporary_preview.myfavoritebeer.org/
Shall you have any questions, I'm happy to help.
