There is a new project to create a LDAP backed BrowserID IdP server.
This will be used internally for all @mozilla.com email addresses, but
the server should be suitable for any organization that uses email
address and passwords with LDAP.
See README for description of how this would work.
If something like this would allow your organization to become their
own identity provider on the web, please get involved.
