Saving a whole news thread

Hi All

I'd like to be able to save a whole news thread. But I can't see
anything presently in Thunderbird to allow me to do that. I have also
looked for an extension but there doesn't seem to be one that can add
that feature to TB.

Anybody know if there is a way to save a whole news thread ?
