Thunderbird Drag n Drop email to desktop

Hi,

I am writing an extension to allow drag and drop email (not attachment)
to desktop. What I've done is to copy and modify attachment drag and
drop function and override messengerdnd.js for new drag and drop
handling. Now when I drag n drop email one at a time, everything is
fine. But when I drag n drop multiple emails, explorer does not accept
the drag and drop. So is there anything missing and preventing the drop
to be handled? Attached modified messengerdnd. Thank you.

It seems that Thunderbird cannot handle multiple files drag and drop as
seen in nsDataObj, is it true? Thanks.

Hi aget1,

i am looking for a solution to drag&drop a mail from tb to file system
one by one is ok

is it possible to share your code or do you have a complete extension ?
