Address bar cancel button from protocol extension

Hello. With everybody's help, I implemented a protocol extension to load page content. For the listener passed to the channel's asyncOpen, I call onStartRequest and multiple onDataAvailable.
It works, but while the page is loading the address bar continued to show the "reload" icon. How can I make Firefox switch it to the "cancel" icon until the page is loaded?
