Hi all,

For an embedding application I would like to disable plugings, but the
line
ac_add_options --disable-plugins
in mozconfig gives me link problems (in xul.dll)

This is my complete mozconfig

mk_add_options MOZ_CO_PROJECT=browser,xulrunner

ac_add_options --enable-application=browser

ac_add_options --enable-debug
ac_add_options --disable-optimize
ac_add_options --disable-tests

ac_add_options --disable-installer
ac_add_options --disable-crashreporter
ac_add_options --disable-javaxpcom
ac_add_options --disable-printing
ac_add_options --disable-embedding-tests

mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=d:/mozz

Thanx for any advice

I suspect we just don't properly support this option anymore.
Disabling plugin support won't really buy you anything, so why bother?

Should we file a bug to remove this configure option?

Depends, do "we" want to still support that option.

Either we do, and should fix it; or we don't and should remove it.
Keeping a broken option around doesn't help anyone.

CCing Josh and Benjamin for the answer to that question, but I imagine
that the answer is that we don't want to support it.
