Lanikai/Thunderbird 3.1 nightly builds now set up

I've updated the devmo page as clearly panel is a gecko feature and not
specific to Firefox.

because 3 is a common extension, and a known failure point, with a
bug#that can be referenced

for TB(3) ... because it does not provide secure updates
But loading your code with an extension to TB3 does it job. Thanks.
The only open question is the compatibility with TB2 and other Mozilla
apps .. I thought there should be a general page/answer available

"Extension Developer" will not be installed because it does not provide
secure updates

Not clear to me if <panel> is already supported with Thunderbird 2 or TB3?
Any feedback on this?

I'm just revisiting this before filing a bug. I think Phil's and
Robert's comments are especially significant - bugs with specific tests
should be filed in the components they are relevant to. Therefore I'm
going to go with Robert's suggestion of:

Why did you distinguish point 3 and 4 ? to me they could be merged ..
