Currently, many repeatable crashes are caused by McAfee
[link] - an issue McAfee is
working on.

If you are not getting the crash reporter, and you don't have McAfee or
the McAfee workarounds do not help, then you will want to use

Clue to TB17 crashes.

A few months back, this error box began to appear on shutdown:

"dwwin.exe - DLL Initialization Failed -The application failed to initialize
because the window station is shutting down."

It didn't seem to bother things so I didn't investigate further.

1 - Dr. Watson did not appear on my task list.

Ping any dev?

After downloading the source code of thunderbird, I built it on mac os x 10.7.5

All of Mac OS X Build Prerequisites have been done. When I executed the command "make -f client.mk build", errors come:

But I found that it's intricate from fetching mail to displaying.

The add-on you seem to be referring to did not stop working - it just
didn't do much that I need, and it interfered with normal Thunderbird
use more than it helped. Therefore, I now have it disabled.
