Does anybody know if Allow HTML Temp Extension by Alexander Ihrig will be
updated for TB3/SM2? I have hacked the RDF file to make it install, but there is
no evidence of it when I restart the application.

I have tried to contact Alexander without success.

This was such a great extension, and I really miss it. For the life of me I
cannot understand why the standard "View Message Body As" menu item does not
just work for the current message. There should be a default for newly displayed
messages (perhaps configurable on a per-server basis), and then a temporary
override for the current message.

There is a thread of the Allow HTML Temp extension in Alexander's German
support forum:
http://www.thunderbird-mail.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=41883

His last comment: "NICHT lauffähig !" (running capabel) on TB3.

He offers a pre-version (only in German, only for testing purpose, will
say at users own risk!) in his Wiki:

As I see now, the download link is disabled

Rainer:

Thanks. So you think he may still be working on it?
