Is there any way to disable or turn off the appearance of the
ThunderBrowse Start Page whenever I Open an Email? I do not have it
installed and do not wish to have it available.

Opening Firefox [Shiretoko] is faster for Me.

Firstly it always helps to specify your problem clearly with correct
names and specifying versions.

I'm assuming you mean Thunderbird and not Thunderbrowse and you are
using the Thunderbird 3.0b4pre nightlies. If you are, then this is a
regression we accidentally introduced and we are working on fixing it
(https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=514858).

You are correct that I am using Tb3.0b4 Nightlies but I did mean
Thunderbrowse as ever since installing the 20090805 Nightly it was the
Thunderbrowse page that Opened briefly when Opening an Email. This even
though the check-box under Options was un-checked.

I have corrected this by leaving the URL box blank.

Thanks for the Link to the Bug.

i have the opposite problem on 3.0b3 under OSX. the message area is
blank regardless to the settings in the prefs. this bug lasts since i
use the 3.0 betas.

i think there is no bug filed on this issue so far, right? i will try to
reproduce the bug.

No need, that is the bug that was fixed that introduced the regression
that we're now talking about.

Just go to Options. Then you will see Thunderbird Start Page heading in General section. Here all you have to do is click restore to default and your done. The solution is very simple as you can see. It is not a bug. The add-on just changes the start screen. That's it!
