Subject: Linux and crashers
Linux users use the version that is provided by their distribution -
this makes sense from the users perspective.

When the user experiences a crash, he usually comes to us to file a bug.
Most of the time the first thing we do is ask them to reproduce the bug
with the builds of Thunderbird for linux that we provide. Ideally we
should host the symbols for those builds so the crash reports are sent
to us - but it's not the case. I would like to change the way we deal
with those crashers, for Thunderbird, and that we kindly point our
testers to instruc      tions provided by the linux distros , on MDC[1]I've
found the following instructions :

        * Ubuntu [2]
        * Fedora [3]
        * OpenSuse [4]

If you  use another distribution and know of such instructions for those
said distribution, please reply to this message giving the name of the
distribution and a link to the instructions for the specific distribution.
