Hi all,

I was wondering if the mystical and oft-mentioned TB3 conversation
view is currently being worked upon? (Ref bug 241197) and
http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidascher/3095078638/

In case this is not happening in the core, would someone here be
working on an extension for it (using the Gloda engine perhaps)?

If neither of this is happening - is there something major that would
block the development of such an add-on?

Cheers

Hi

Someone is working on an extension that copes with threaded view
already. It's still a work in progress, of course, and additional
features will be added in the next releases. But it does a really nice
job already. Check it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/thunderbird/addon/54035
Next beta version can be found here: http://www.xulforum.org/go_code .
It introduces a way to display the complete thread the current message
belongs to in a new tab (and in threaded view, which is IMHO more
usable than the Gmail view for long threads), whichever folders the
messages in the thread are located in, of course.

Maybe this is an answer to your question.

Great, thanks - thats exactly what I was looking for! This should
probably get added to the main bugzilla entry too.
