A new message arrives and the pop-up notification is displayed,
however the message is not shown in the listing.
If I move away from this group, e.g. to a Saved Search, and then back
again the message is now present.
This is an intermittent problem which I have seen a few times with 3.0
rc1, I never noticed it with 2.0.
1. I noticed this same behaviour just now with a message that I sent
(rather than received)
2. As I speak I have two messages in my inbox which have not appeared
in the 'All Mail' View to which is the currnet view.
I can confirm that TB has received the messages because when I hover
over Inbox the messages are displayed.
Various actions such as reply to an exisiting message, switching to
address book etc do not trigeer the display of the messages.
I tested unplugging the network cable before clicking on Sent Items
and then back on All Mail.
The result was that TB 'froze' whilst looking for the network.
I am not sure that this test is any use!
I also just noticed that in the properties for All Mail there is a
setting 'Check this folder for new messages' - I have checked this and
will see if the problem persists.
Thanks
Hi Felix,
I noticed kind of a similar problem with the sent messages view on my
IMAP
accounts.
A newly sent message seems to be added to the sent list only when the
sent view is opened.
Did you find a solution for your problem? 'Check this folder for new
messages' doesn't seem to
change this behaviour.
I am looking for a way to get all sent messages immediately in the
sent list, without any user interaction.
Thanks, Tom
