Seamonkey freezing win7?

Lately Ive had issues with win7 x64 freezing, sometimes for a few seconds sometimes permanent, so I have to do a hard reboot.
As far as I can determine this only happens when seamonkey is running?
Other have the same experience or perhaps even a solution? (Ive been happy using the mozilla suite for years so id hate to have to switch)... more »

Would it be possible to post a message at least weekly in
mozilla.support.seamonkey regarding the current status of efforts to
resume development of SeaMonkey versions? It is been over a week since
I have seen anything about your hardware failure.

Problem compiling Seamonkey 2.18

Hi,
following Jens suggestion, I've downloaded the revision tagged with
RELEASE_21_END from comm-release and the one tagged FIREFOX_21_0_RELEASE
from mozilla-release (extracted inside comm-release and renamed the
folder as mozilla) to compile Seamonkey 2.18 on my own.

Just looking at the release notes page for SM 2.18 .... [link] and in the Frequently Asked Questions section, under the "Who makes SeaMonkey?" sub-heading it directs people to look at "Help->About Mozilla SeaMonkey"
