Lately Ive had issues with win7 x64 freezing, sometimes for a few seconds sometimes permanent, so I have to do a hard reboot.

As far as I can determine this only happens when seamonkey is running?

Other have the same experience or perhaps even a solution? (Ive been happy using the mozilla suite for years so id hate to have to switch)

I have Seamonkey 2.17 running on a Win 7 Ultimate x64 Dell laptop Core
I3 and have never had that problem.

Is it during videos? Maybe try disabling hardware acceleration in SM
settings?

I have noticed the same behavior using the last win-32 trunk nightly on
a win7 x64 system. I notice it most frequently when opening a link into
a new tab.

I never had and don't have this freezing SeaMonkey (final releases -- no
trunks) problem in my two updated 64-bit W7 (HPE and EE with and without
SP1) Intel i5 CPU work/office machines (Dell Studios XPS 8000 [3 to 8 GB
of RAM] and Lenovo [don't remeber its model; 8 GB of RAM]).
