A mock-up on how to reconfigure search and location bar
Alex Faaborg faab...@mozilla.com mozilla dev apps firefox * I see that most

Location Bar: URL formatting alternatives
As a side note, I've seen brilliant surgeons and mathematicians have trouble
using Firefox (things like knowing that the location bar is editable, or
scrolling). An inability to use an interface has much more to do with the
quality of the interface itself, as opposed to the user's intelligence. saying
that their ...

elsewhere on the screen. Another example of a program that alters what is on the
screen according to what is happening is Skype. Although I prefer Firefox as ...

Location bar not clearing
There's about half a dozen sites I use everyday and typically those appear in my
old location bar as a concise list... because for the most part that is the only
information I put into the location bar. I'm not a big fan of Toolbars so I don'
t use the Bookmarks Toolbar... so I guess I use the Location bar as a kind ...

Location Bar Proposal 1.2
To recap, the problem with the button idea is that it decreases the current

can either select it or activate it. Buttons and text seem mutually exclusive.
