firefox/mozilla browser SLOW !!

i have a pretty quick connection, but have noticed the browser has
slowed almost to a stop several times, crashing everything. are there
any fixes you can suggest, besides dumping cookies and the usual
maintenance.....been there and done that...need some answers

Hi,

I'd suggest helping test the Firefox 3.5
beta<http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html>(which is much
faster in general), and if that doesn't help, talk to the
Mozilla support channels.

Even if it says "beta", it's very stable and fast at this point, and
personally I haven't had a crash in months.

Or you could use FlashBlock to disable Flash and enable it selectively. I
know that used to decrease my crashes a lot when I was a Safari user. :)
