Trunk builds + WinXP update = broken?

Ever since yesterday, when some WinXP update occurred, Firefox (and
Thunderbird) trunk doesn't launch anymore. I get an error dialog:

firefox.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly.

Strangely, I get the same error with Firefox release, and Thunderbird
nightly (but not for Tb 1.5.0.8 release).

WinXP decided my hard drive needed to be scanned for errors this
morning, so that might be the cause.

Meanwhile, is there something broken in the nightly builds (windows)?

OK. Clean install + new profile seemed to fix it. Don't know what
happened. Sorry about false alarm.

Also, copied bookmarks to new profile, then half of bookmarks were
missing. Had to take previous day's bookmarks backup. :-\
