https://wiki.mozilla.org/Releases says "Firefox 16 moves to beta on
August 27, 2012". Mobile and/or ARMv6 might be a few days earlier or
later (it wasn't always synchronized in the past).

For the Firefox 16 beta release, we plan to support only a limited set
of ARMv6 devices in the Play Store. Mozilla QA is still working on
testing a wider range of devices and figuring out exactly what type of
hardware can run Firefox reliably; we'll expand the supported device
list as soon as we have more testing. (And of course, users of untested
devices will still be welcome to download builds from Mozilla's servers
and let us know how they work.)

Is there a list somewhere? :-)

I don't know if there's a final list yet, but this page has info on the
tested devices, and links to relevant bugs:

There is telemetry being added right now to get data on how usable
Firefox is on certain low-end devices, so any list would still be
amendable to change.

Just wanted to know the testing was performed using a fairly old version of nightly.
