Is there a workaround to regain the normal "List all tabs" drop-down in
Minefield so it would be back to usage before Minefield instead of the
(useless) thumbnails popup off modified button to resemble thumbnails
(or the spreadsheet icon for "select visible cells").

Is there a name for that view (that resembles showcase extension) as it
certainly isn't a drop-down menu type thing.

There's no name for it, and it's still under development. Not sure if
there's a pref for it at this time.

Welcome to trunk, where things can be wild and unpredictable!

cheers,
mike

There's no pref for it [1]. However you can use the "Tabs Menu"
extension which gives you something close to the old tabs drop-down [2].

Don't know why I couldn't find that bug again, but I'll keep track of them this time.
Internet Explorer already named it , "Quick Tabs", with a keyboard shortcut of "Ctrl+Q"
which for an unwanted feature is a bit safer/better than terminating Firefox.
I guess I lost track of it because it is not the type of thing I would ever vote for as wanted.

Guess I'll just wait for the shit to hit the fan then maybe it will just be backed off
without having to have a preference, or a menu extension. Wasn't this
already backed out of Firefox once before.
