Can you file a bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org) describing your
problem, and cc: sha...@mozilla.org? Information from your
about:support page would also be helpful.

A bit of context might help! "type-ahead problem" could refer to almost
anything.

That's interesting! We have seen the same thing with Mozmill in our VM's:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=621994

So it's really a Firefox bug, which needs investigation and a proper
regression range.
