Embedded pdfs no longer working

Over the summer, I wrote a website that dynamically changes the
innerHTML of a div to an embedded pdf and then tried to change the
innerHTML to normal HTML code. It worked fine and everything was
great. It seems to be the case that now, Firefox will crash everytime
the page loads different HTML into the div.

Any thoughts as to what has happened (i know 3.5.3 and 3.5.4 have come
out) or how to fix it?

Could you give us some crash ids? Type about:crashes into the location bar, and
copy the links/IDs related to this issue (crash it again a few times to be sure,
if necessary :-) ). That'd help figure out what was going on...

Sorry for the delayed reply: this has been fixed with the latest
updates to Reader/Acrobat 8 and was fixed a while ago with a patch to
Reader/Acrobat 9.
