On Windows 7, I have both Thunderbird and Firefox nightly builds
"pinned" to the Taskbar. But when I load Firefox, it opens a *separate*
icon on the Taskbar. No other pinned programs do this. Is this a bug or
feature?

Unpin the icons and pin the open programs.
