Hi,

Until I recently updated to TB24 and what is meant to be the compatible calendar version 2.6, I've been able to use my calendars.

But since updating lightning doesn't appear to work at all for local or remote calendars.

I tried looking for bugs in this area, but couldn't find any logged. Is it a known issue?

I keep seeing errors on the console like:

Components.classes['@mozilla.org/calendar/ics-service;1'] is undefined

when ever it tries to parse any ICS events its downloaded from the server.

Also see (sanitized slightly):

Error: [Exception... "'[JavaScript Error: "Components.classes[cid] is undefined" {file: "resource://calendar/modules/calUtils.jsm -> file:///Users/.../extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/calendar-js/calUtils.js" line: 16}]' when calling method: [calIObserver::onLoad]" nsresult: "0x80570021 (NS_ERROR_XPC_JAVASCRIPT_ERROR_WITH_DETAILS)" location: "JS frame :: resource://calendar/modules/calUtils.jsm -> file:///Users/.../extensions/%7Be2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103%7D/calendar-js/calUtils.js :: notifyFunc :: line 1253" data: yes]

I'm guessing this one is the true cause of things going wrong, since it seems to imply its unable to initialize things correctly.

Any way to resolve this, or should I just wait for it to be fixed ;)

Thanks,

Darren.

No problems here. Loading local and remote ics files works fine for me
using Lightning 2.6a1 with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:24.0)
Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/24.0a1 both from 2013-06-11.

What specific version and platform of Lightning do you use?

Hi Stefan,

Sorry, should have mentioned the platform - it's MacOS/X 10.7.5

Thanks,

Darren.

Hello Darren,

it was confirmed that Lightning 2.6a1 is broken on Mac OS X. The problem
is tracked in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=882334

Hi,

could you test if Lightning 2.5a2 + Thunderbird 23.0a2 on Mac OS X is
working or broken too?
