Cutting down the review queue - Mentoring System
Hello, newbie on this group here, I had just read the article "Burning down the Add-On review queues" on the mozilla blog at [link] - and left a (rather verbose) comment on this, which I would like to share and put up for discussion.... more »

When will the results for Extend Firefox 3.5 be announced? It was supposed to be Nov 9, but I still see no signs of it.

Who will update the awesome "Sage" feed reader?
Sage is by far the best feed reader I have ever used (and I've tested several). Unfortunately, Sage is not compatible with Firefox 3.6 beta 1 (sub-folders can't be opened or closed). *Bug* Make Sage compatible with Firefox 3.6 (sidebar folders don't open & close) [link]... more »

Menubutton control with dynamic links
I am trying to create an add-on that takes the contents of a textbox and adds that string into a URL, much the same way OpenSearch does. I'm having a hard time finding the correct JS code to cause a menubutton menu item to act as if it were a bookmark menu item: that is, send the active browser tab to a new URL.... more »

Getting "no install script." Is my RDF missing something?
I'm having a weird problem. When I use the Add-On Builder I get a perfectly functioning XPI if I rename the file from .zip to .xpi. It will install in Firefox without a problem. This is great, but of course it's just a blank Add-On. I want my code in there. To do that I have to unzip the thing, edit the files, and zip it back up again,... more »

How can you install an AMO collection?
I thought I was able to create an AMO Collection using [link] and I can see the addons in my collection. But I can't figure out how to install it. There is an install link to the right side, for "Add-on Collector", but this seems to be some kind of meta tool. Each of the ten... more »

customDBHeaders / Content-Type
Hi, I'm trying to read out the MIME content-type via getStringProperty() according to [link], but it won't work (I've added "content-type" to the mailnews.customDBHeaders preference before and rebuilt the .msf's). After inspecting TB's sources, it seems to me TB already reads out... more »

addon hosted on twitter.com
Firebug 1.4.4 was released today on AMO. Curiously the following URL appeared on twitter: [link] If you click on the the link, you see a gray page with a yellow banner across the tome "Firefox prevented this site (twitter.com) from asking you to install software on your computer. [Allow]"... more »
