Subject: Add-on Compatibility Helper
Hi dev.amo friends,

Below is a spec for an extension that would possibly be bundled with
alpha and beta builds of Firefox to help identify compatibility issues
and non-issues early on.

Please take a look if you're interested in this topic and reply with any
feedback.

Thanks

Looks good! And a great idea as well, it will really improve the
feedback loop.

One thought: should the "compatibility" button say "report
compatibility" to remind them what it's there for?

Cheers,
Seth.

I couldn't quickly tell what an add-on developer would see as a result,
but I can tell you that if it is anything similar to the MozillaZine
Problematic Extensions page
(http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions) then I am very much
against it. That site reports unsubstantiated gossip as fact with no
practical way for extension developers to respond.
