Subject: [Reps-General] ReMo status update - week of January 16th 2012
Greetings Reps!
First off, a very happy new year to you all. We hope everyone is as excited as us about 2012 and all the great things that will be happening in the Mozilla Rep universe this year :)
2011 was a fantastic year for us, where in just 7 months, we made ReMo become a very successful program, empowering 400+ Mozilla Reps around the world to represent Mozilla in their region, to raise awareness about the Mozilla project, to mobilize new contributors, to organize awesome events (more than 200 events to date!) and to inform the public of Mozilla mission and the values we live by.
It's been one amazing ride so far and it's only going to get better! During the holiday break, the ReMo Council worked on the roadmap for the first quarter of 2012. As a team, we looked back at what we felt worked well and what needed improvement in 2011 and we built together a weekly planner, which you can all see here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0ArtnGS...
This document will give you an overview of what the council is working on this quarter and the objectives we set ourselves. We hope that it will serve as a useful tool for all reps to better situate themselves within the program and to be excited about what's coming up. We'd also like to hear if you think we're taking the program in the right direction or if any of the priorities don't make sense.
To complement this document, we will start a tradition of sending a short weekly status update of ReMo, that way everyone gets the latest news about the program and is informed of new tools, functionalities and processes we're building to make Reps rock even more! Also watch these updates for opportunities to help build these tools.
So, without further ado, please find below the first weekly status update of the year! (*)
