online meetup

Hi all,

So soo sorry for the super long delay, Mehn I tell you its no fun working
full time, I sure miss my school days and long vacations :)

Anyway so I hope we can run a series of meetups online, using one of
Mozilla's most preferred collaboration tool: IRC.

So IRC is a text based chat service. Mozilla's own is hosted at
irc.mozilla.org.

To connect you need a chat client such mibbit, pidgin, empathy, mIRC, XChat,
ChatZilla, etc

when you connect to an IRC server you can connect to a group (or channels as
they are known) such as #remo, #marketing #qa #firefox etc

The Ghana Developers Network has its own IRC channel where you will find me
most often :) .
Install an IRC client, connect to the server irc.freenode.net and come over
to the #gh-dev channel.

we also need to select a suitable day and time we will be meeting online
which will be convenient for everyone.

select a date which you think is most suitable for you, and add a comment to
show which times you are available for those days, the day with the most
votes will be our regular meeting days.

So your first task if you choose to accept is to:
-vote for a day for our online meetup
-Install an IRC client
-connect to irc.freenode.net
-and join the #gh-dev channel
-and ping me and lets chat
