Hi all,
This came out of the Toronto meeting, but obviously affects and helps all
of us moving forward. The backbone of many existing regional communities is
l10n. For the most part, this won't be the case in Canada (though it would
be great to have Canadian French, and First Nations communities!) and not
for the Toronto group.
If you had to describe the mission or purpose of a regional community in
Toronto, or in your area, how would you put it into a short statement?
You can see the meeting etherpad for a couple of our thoughts -
https://mozillianstoronto.etherpad.mozilla.org/meeting2-mar72012 - but we
really benefited from hearing everyone's thoughts separately and then
finding the common threads. I'd love to replicate that here and see if we
come to the same conclusions. I think it would also be an interesting
question to put to other lists like reps-general and mozillians.
So, what does a local community in Canada mean to you?
