Firefox OS Phone for the community

Hi all

I was wondering if the Belgian community could use a Keon device for display
at events and such. Reps can request one (see the original mail below) for
their local community.

Hi Ziggy,

In case you need one, I've ordered and received one of each phone
(Keon and Peak). So just ask and I'll lend them to you :-)
I plan to demonstrate them both at Rewics soon, I don't know if you
can drop by. (I may also return to Gent one of these days because it's
a great place to play Ingress with my other phone :P)

I know you and Monique are Reps, I encourage you to ask for one. They
may not be on par with a Samsung Galaxy or iPhone, but still they are
responsive and useful and I could very well imagine my parents or my
sister use that kind of phone in a few months.

If I manage to get another one through the Reps program, I'd also be
happy to offer it to an app developer.

Hi Benoit

Ah, that is good to know. I have no immediate need for a device but I
figured it would be nice to present it at events (like Rewics, which I yet
again can't attend to due to my theses and upcoming exams). Sounds like
you're ahead of me, haha!

Regarding the reps request, yeah we could. The council has however made it
clear that we're to use them at least once a month, and that is
unfortunately not something I can commit to. My plan would've been to send
it around in the Belgian community but it seems like everyone is already
walking around with one these days :)!
