I think of it as gathering point for nearby communities with potential for
stronger cooperation
and communication between them.

I have doubts in region's relevance in general, not just Balkans.
Where I see the opportunity is exchanging information, experiences and
knowledge between different
communities.
Although that doesn't revolutionize the Region itself, it can mean a lot to
communities.
I believe that we all have some similar or same problems, no matter which
country is it and which laws
exist there. And, this is exactly where we can help each other.

For a start, people will have the opportunity to meet in person.
In my experience, that really means a lot.
After Croatian community meeting in January, I pretty much stayed in
contact with all guests
which visited us and our collaboration flourished.
Also, I believe it will be good opportunity to resole our common issues:
How to get more people interested, how to keep them collaborating, etc.
I don't think that forcing "brainstorming" about something what we will do
collectively as a Region
will result with any good ideas, but I believe that we could bump on some
ideas while working on
our communities and ourselves.
