Hello everyone again,
More emails from me, :)
Before one week I was looking into Zain Jordan website (The main Mobile
Operator in Jordan with largest market share) and they have a customized
version of IE9 can be downlaoded from their website. So I contacted them as
Arabic Mozilla, telling them to have another browser to give users an
option.
They replied to me, telling me to send them the idea and why they should do
that.
So I will send them the idea and why they should do that, but if they
asking help from us and expecting they will do, anyone like to help on this
task I think it will be a good opportunity that we can be replicated in
with different companies

Amazing idea, as usual :)
I'm in inchallah. Actually I think we can re-use the experience of
providing this customized browser with Zain in other aspects and companies,
as you have indicated :)
I know I haven't been available online lately a lot, however I'll be back
soon inchallah :)
But I can find emails, and will do my best to contribute.

نظريا، يبدو أن إضافة ثيم افتراضي يحمل هوية زين + الصفحة الرئيسية لزين في
الواجهة أمر يفي بالغرض؟
أم أنّ المطلوب شيء أكثر من هذا؟
سابقا، أذكر أنّ تثبيت موديم إتّصالات المغرب يضيف للحاسب نسخة معدّلة من
إنترنت إكسبلورر 6، التعديل ليس إلا تغيير ألوان وشعار فقط.
كان هذا في 2004، 2005 طبعا :)

If someone has downloaded their modified version of IE, would they please
tell us about the differences from the standard version. We would apply
those changes (themes/personas, startpage, bookmarks, custom toolbars, etc)
to firefox + adding some of the useful addons. Then we'll explain to them
about Mozilla, its mission about making the web open and free to all users,
how firefox is customizable, faster, more secure and more fitting for their
needs (etc); and finally persuade them to put that version on their website.

I installed the IE9 and guess what.. once you click on the icon the below
screen [1] will pop up with the two options as you see (English/Arabic)

Once it's installed the only customized thing is the homepage it goes to
their homepage that's all
So I think this will give us advantage, to change the homepage, put the
theme for them and as Anas mentioned few add-ons for them and I am sure it
will be less than 31 MB (IE9 size from their website)

Sure. I don't think it will reach more than 20 MB even. We can also add a
third button for Firefox Mobile - Android version (the first two button are
the english and arabic versions of firefox desktop) in a webpage similar to
that shown in the screenshot. Then, we'll perhaps make the links point
always to the lastest versions of Firefox.
