Gmail started acting up for me, arrow keys refused to work for me, cut/paste via CTRL-C/CTRL-V didn't work (mouse right click still worked), and even on some other sites the problems existed.  But not always.

Even as I have it running on this 17.0A1 as the only working extension, I have lost the use of the arrow keys.  New profile.  I also experienced this under 16.0A1.

When started in safe mode, the problem does not exist.  And since it is now defunct, no fixes are going to be forthcoming, it would be of great help to actually prevent it's use and the attendant problems it causes.  Until I installed it on this profile, I had no idea that there was a replacement out for it.  Unfortunately, there is not method to inform the user of a change like this without the user trying to reinstall the extension to start with.

I do not know where else to post this so that it does get blocked.

And even as a no-restart extension, you will not get the issue if you install and don't reboot, and it continues if you disable it and don't reboot.  I don't know if this is F1's fault or an issue in the way no-restart extensions can still be in effect after being disabled.

Today, I finally had the time to go through my lengthy list of extensions and disable and retry cursoring around in Gmail.  Going alphabetically, I'm glad it wasn't just Messaging...
