Subject: Viewing Data
I would very much like to be able to view the bookmarks that are
synced. Seeing other things like passwords, and stuff would also be
nifty, but really, i want to see my bookmarks. (I recently deleted a
folder on accident, and was unable to get it back since i couldnt see
the data that i had synced.)

Firefox keeps several backups of the bookmarks, if you are in the
bookmarks window just use the restore function to go back to the
point where you still had them.

I do not want to restore the entire thing, just those bookmarks. And that is
not really the point. Having the data is all well and good, but being able
to see it makes lots o sense

Because all your data is encrypted, you need a client to decrypt that
data for you. For now the easiest way is to just use the Weave Sync
client. You could create a new Firefox profile with Weave installed
and have that new profile "replace everything on this computer from
other devices". And you can use the Firefox UI to browse look at
history, bookmarks, passwords, etc.

In the future you'll be able to use a web page to view your data, but
note that it'll still need to decrypt your data. To ensure your
privacy, it'll do that decryption locally after the encrypted data is
downloaded from the server, so as javascript performance improves,
that experience should get better.
