I've released a while ago python-weave 0.1 (http://pypi.python.org/
pypi/python-weave)

It's the python client started by Mike Hanson, plus a small distutils
wrapping so it can be installed with tools like easy_install or pip,
and published at PyPI.

The storage part has been changed lately so it would work with the
latest storage API. Besides the command line tool, there's a small
usage example in /examples.

Before I go ahead and release 0.2, I've started a massive refactoring
that includes:

- splitting the code into a better layout (logical modules etc.)
- started to pep8-fy the code
- started to work on adding some tests
- added a protocol version number in the APIs, so the client can
evolve smoothly and work with multiple versions

The version I am working on is a clone of the official one, located at
https://bitbucket.org/tarek/python-weave-client. It can be used to
query a weave server that follows the latest implementation.

I will submit this work for inclusion, and I am also looking for
people who would like to play with it it and provide me with some
feedback.
