Freeze when gaming

I experienced freezing seemingly at random when playing any game. Specifically World of Warcraft and Borderlands on Steam. The screen freezes, I'm unable to move the mouse or even toggle caps lock on the keyboard. There is no artifacting  or tiling, it looks like a screenshot. This only happens when I have the beta 9 open.

revert back to a solid steam build, then try it... also make sure nothing else has changed, and that other games run fine outside of steam as well, and always do routine daily or even hourly if needed maintenance, i recommend systweak's Advanced System Optimizer, works very well has all modules necessary to fully maintain Your pc's I got it through trialpay for only $7 for a year liscense, well worth the normal $30 anyway, Your choice, ASO v3+ systweak.com there is no higher rated optimizer suite for the pc, it's #1 bar none.
