I was only online for just a few hours yesterday (as opposed to the
usual 12+) because a real world situation suddenly came. It had
slipped my mind that yesterday (9/11) was the last day of the Tab Open/
Close Study so now I'm wondering...
Was my data automatically submitted?
If so, I never had the opportunity to review it before it got sent.
If it wasn't sent at all, then have I participated in, contributed to,
discussed, and followed a test case for a week for nothing.
I cannot find any official information, blog posts, discussion group
or list announcements about the test case being over with, what's
next, your data has been submitted, your data has not been submitted,
nothing.
Do you know if my data was sent or not? How would you know that?
Should a bug be filed for Test Pilot to somehow alert a pilot through
Firefox and/or email (both optional) that a test case is over
reminding them and giving them the opportunity to submit their data or
cancel submitting it?
Adding a "My Completed Surveys" or "Missions Flown" page/feature to
Test Pilot would also be cool.
I want to help out in anyway that I can for both Mozilla's and Firefox
user's benefit (that's why I'm doing this) but I need to know if the
effort that I'm making and the time and attention that I'm giving is
not going in vain.
I'm sure that you can dig that.
