I was only online for just a few hours yesterday (as opposed to the
usual 12+) because a real world situation suddenly came. It had
slipped my mind that yesterday (9/11) was the last day of the Tab Open/
Close Study so now I'm wondering...
Was my data automatically submitted?
If so, I never had the opportunity to review it before it got sent.
If it wasn't sent at all, then have I participated in, contributed to,
discussed, and followed a test case for a week for nothing.

I cannot find any official information, blog posts, discussion group
or list announcements about the test case being over with, what's
next, your data has been submitted, your data has not been submitted,
nothing.

Do you know if my data was sent or not? How would you know that?

Should a bug be filed for Test Pilot to somehow alert a pilot through
Firefox and/or email (both optional) that a test case is over
reminding them and giving them the opportunity to submit their data or
cancel submitting it?

Adding a "My Completed Surveys" or "Missions Flown" page/feature to
Test Pilot would also be cool.

I want to help out in anyway that I can for both Mozilla's and Firefox
user's benefit (that's why I'm doing this) but I need to know if the
effort that I'm making and the time and attention that I'm giving is
not going in vain.

I'm sure that you can dig that.

I opened firefox when test was complete and popup told me about need
of submitting my data, I clicked on TP icon than "tab open\close
study" and there was some info and upload data button, after that this
test is gray and tagged with "completed"

Ok then, I feel a little silly about my previous comments. When I
started Firefox (cold start) I saw a popup and just hit ok because the
only ones that I usually see when I startup Firefox are for TwitterFox
and FoxFilter and they appear when I'm not yet connected to the
Internet. I power up my PC and then my modem and I thought that I
wasn't connected just yet so I had just hit enter on my way to get
some coffee while waiting for Fx and other programs to fully load.
Blah, blah, blah.
The issue now is that I don't see Tab Open/Close Study in the TP menu
to submit my data. I closed Firefox and waited a while before firing
it up again hoping to see the popup again but I didn't.
Would changing the values to any of the about:config Test Pilot
references trigger the popup again?
And why don't I see an option for Tab Open/Close Study in the TP menu
to submit my data?

Any suggestions or at least an acknowledgment would be greatly
appreciated so that I can direct my time and focus on other things.

Thanks.

Ken

When I started firefox after my end date, it took 2 or so minutes
before I got the pop up telling me the test was complete. But in those
2 or 3 minutes the test had vanished from the menu completely.
