so i'll comment on another topic: "Why firefox is losing share" :

The mozilla team seems not to have recognized the critically-important
role that 'addons' / 'extensions' play in a user's decision to adopt
a particular browser. Google's Chrome seems to 'get it' but their own
problem is the mess they have re: preventing users to install Chrome
where they wanT to install it: this kills the use of Chrome in many cases.

When will we have an opensource browser that considers real users'
needs?? So far, Opera comes closest ..

Chrome also sucks because lots of their addons dont work everywhere
due to security permissions. Like the MouseGestures addons dont work
in tabs like extension manager and options windows.

Chrome is fast, stable and useful for people who are not able to work
with complicated software.

Of Course Mozilla "gets" this. Do you think they would spend money on
maintaining the addon site if they did not? ....
