I've installed the test-pilot extension.

Now what?

My impression is that there are two projects coming up that may use
this extension? :
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Test_Pilot

Anything else to do before then?

Hi figital,

Thanks for installing the test-pilot extension! The two projects listed in https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Test_Pilot will come soon.

We would like to give some buffer time to get more participants before we roll out tests. Meanwhile, if you haven't done it yet, you may complete the survey so we could understand what type of users the pilot community could represent.

I've got the test pilot installed too now, and the survey is complete. I
take it, though, that the two pending test are going to require those
particular plugins to be installed? Or will the test install a
specialized version?

I guess the survey IS the first test.

I guess that little icon down in the status bar will blink when there's something else to do.

Unfortunately, on my Mac (OS X 10.5, Firefox 3.5.2) the icon is
blinking EVERY time I start the browser to tell me to take part on the
survey (which I already did). Going to the survey page stops it until
the next start of Firefox.

I've already filled a bug on Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=510043

Unfortunately the blinking icon is still there after first trying the
work around given on Bugzilla and second updating the add-on. :(
