Snowl discussion group to be archived
Hi all, No one is hacking on Snowl at the moment, and the experiment has run its course. So I'm going to archive this discussion group, which disables posting but retains all the previous posts for posterity. We can always enable it again in the future if folks start working on it again. The code will remain available at its Mozilla and Mozdev Mercurial... more »

Snowl icon in toolbar?
I added the Snowl Icon to my Toolbar, and think the eye is kinda creepy... I like the add on a lot and look forward to seeing what else Mozilla adds to it, but I figured I'd mention that it might be better to just use an owl head instead. The normal icon is really cool looking. The eye may creep people out...... more »

Floods of update requests.
Running Firefox from the command line so that I can see the chatter from Snowl has resulted in me noticing something: Snowl will often repeatedly request updates from the same sources, often ending up with a half-dozen pending requests for each. This happens when the request is not resolved within one minute, Snowl then... more »

icon in river & doubled
Hi I'm using snowl for one or two hour, and have some quick feature request... I realy like the river & flux view. But beside the aestetic aspect of the river, it'd be cool to have pictograms at head of title as for the flux. Made the whole thing more readable. Also it could be great to have an option to hide the doubled made by... more »

How do you remove feeds?
Hi, I started using Snowl just to monitor Twitter, and it was great. then, I made the mistake of importing all my RSS feeds, which made the left pane unmanageable. I'd love to remove all the RSS feeds and just use Snowl to keep an eey on Twitter while I'm surfing in Firefox. Does anyone know how I remove those feeds? Or is there a userdata or... more »

Updating
Snowl used to regularly update, repopulating my stream-view about once an hour or so. I noticed upon upgrading to 0.3 that I must manually hit the "refresh" button now in order to get anything new. For what I use the application for, this is less than ideal. Is this by design, or is it a bug I should report?... more »
