Is there a way to use prism with german dialogs?

I want to use a setup of prism and local jetty for a german
application. Is there a possibility to use german dialogs for prism
messages, downloads, etc.

It's definitely possible but you'd have translate all the strings in
the locale directories in Prism and XULRunner into German. There might
be a localized version of XULRunner available somewhere, if not you
could probably use a localized version of Firefox to get most or all
of the strings used in XULRunner.
