The accent color is used in the title bar on Mac OS X, which is the only
OS for which Firefox supports changing the color of the title bar (this
is the bar at the very top of the window, above the menu bar on Windows
and Linux, that is part of the window frame).

There may be other places it could be used that would work on other
OSes. It's an area that is ripe for experimentation, so folks who feel
up to it should give it a shot! You could do it by hacking on the
extension, but you could also do it via mockups that present a Firefox
window with an accent color applied to various areas, which would give
us a good sense of how it'd look.
