so if I want to use native personas functionality in Firefox 3.6 with
a website other than getpersonas.com, the website has to use the
"standard method" for setting personas, what's the "standard method"?
how can I use it?

there should already be code in place to randomly select ones in your
favorites. click the fox icon or go Tools>Personas and then select
favorites. it should either display some of your favorites or ask you
to sign in, after which it should display your favorites. then, the
last entry should read "Random Selection From Favorites"

not sure what you mean here. depending on how many toolbars you have,
the header image at least has a varying size, from no toolbars and
tiny icons to 17 toolbars and large icons. making the image stretch
to fit has been suggested, however that distorts images and makes them
difficult to appreciate. width is designed to accompany multi display

Is there a script I could write in the "about:config" area, or
elsewhere, to get Personas to automatically switch between my
favorites list? If so, what would the code be. I have had a little
(very little) experience with adding integers and Boolean values to
the Mozilla code but not much more. Thanks!

I would like to know why you ask for a specific size and then chop our
work in half, when clearly we wanted to use everything you can see.
Why not ask for the actual size of the header and footer?

isn't much to be said about it is why i didn't respond. i hardly use
the "recently selected" menu, because previewing lets you see what it
will look like without actually applying it. I don't really go back
and find one i used to have.

Yes I am. I thought it might be that, but I saw three personas of the
Doctor and one of Jack, along with two TW logos. So, I didn't think
that was the case. But its fixed now.

Yes I know, but that wasn't my problem. My problem was it being
rejected at first for inappropriate material which sounded to me like
a homophobic attitude against the content and left me offended,
especially when a pic of them dancing was rejected as well. But the
issue has been resolved and they are now approved.

Are you talking about Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones from the torchwood
TV show? In that case, it might be a copyright issue. Because I heard
that mozilla had a deal with some Hollywood studios (I believe its MGM
and Warner Bros, but I'm not sure) but I never heard anything about the
BBC.

You should know that for many users without multiple toolbars, the top
of the image will be all that they can see, and the top image is
justified on the right side.
