Panel no longer anchors to widget in FF 22 beta

Hi all,

I've noticed that in FF 22 (current beta) a panel in my add-on (Mind the Time) is no longer anchored to its widget as it should be, but appears centered in the browser window instead. See attached screenshot.

I remember reading about work on more control of panel positioning, so I imagine it's related to that? Any advice on how to fix it would be appreciated.

Log in to Twitter via a Jetpack

Hi,

I've started writing an addon to add some metrics to the Twitter Web UI.
This addon generates metrics that are meant to be relative to the
"current" user. So I need to log the user to access the Twitter API [1]
(I could get the info by hacking the Twitter web UI, but don't feel
that's a good idea)

Hello,

I need to add an icon for my addon next to the FF search bar.
Something like,

don't see a way to do this using addon-sdk. It only allows to add to
addon bar.

I am wondering how will I achieve this. Any help would be great.

Repacking for Firefox 22

If you have an add-on built with a version of the SDK earlier than 1.14,
then it won't work with Firefox 22 (currently Firefox Aurora, and due to
release on June 25).

For it to work, it will need to be repacked with SDK 1.14.

There are three reasons for this:

* the SDK, in versions 1.12 and earlier, expects the platform's old

Some quick highlights:

* we've landed the final work to make Panels work with per-Window private
browsing, to be released in Firefox 22.
* we're close to landing platform support for cross-domain xhr in content

I've been thinking a bit about what will happen to the SDK documentation
once we stop shipping modules in the downloaded bit of the SDK.

For context, here's the current status and next steps for the SDK:

* SDK APIs are currently in Firefox 21 (as of yesterday, the Firefox Beta)
* these APIs are the same as the APIs in SDK 1.14

As you may have noticed, Add-on SDK 1.14 was released on Tuesday. I’m
pleased to also announce that Add-on Builder has been updated to
support SDK 1.14. As well, the AMO Add-on Validator has also been
updated to support SDK 1.14.

The one caveat with using Add-on Builder with SDK 1.14 is that the
