Problem Activating Jetpack SDK

I'm having problems trying to activate the Jetpack 0.5 SDK. I have
Python 2.7 installed. I'm using Windows 7 64bit. I get the following
error when I try to run bin\activate:

ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or
value.
Verification of Jetpack SDK environment failed (cannot import name
SW_HIDE).
Your SDK may not work properly.

Can anyone help?

FWIW I am experiencing the same problem using Python 2.7 and Jetpack
SDK 0.6 on Windows XP SP3 32bit
