Where is the definitive API for jetpack?

I see pieces and parts of the api in chrome, wiki, and dev.mozilla.org
sites. Where's the whole api? I want to start on building a jetpack
for the contest, but it's really confusing as to where to get info on
the api....

Yes, we know :(

We are currently having Kurt Cagle work on doing the documentation as quickly as possible (without, of course, sacrificing quality). It will all be hosted on dev.mozilla.org.

The JEPs are where I normally look for documentation in addition to the api in the chrome.
