Subject: Prototype - the media center like browser
Hi =) ,
before enjoying the prototype :) I'd like to give a description about
it.

{ The description }

First, this prototype concern only the " Web " part of my concept
which is the media center like browser because it's the most important
part. If you remember, there were many parts in the concept :
http://www.libdez.com/mozilla/home.jpg  . There is an icon at the top
left of the screen which is used to return to the Home screen of the
browser (which is the link ) .

Second, I changed almost all the design and tried to design an easy
and useful new design with some ideas from the old mockups and some
new ones.

{ What you can do in the prototype }

* You can browse any page you want using the address bar and then you
can see that there is a " loading " display on the active tab and at
the bottom of the page [instead a statue bar] and even tabs will
change to the URL you browse. [I used http://www.thumbshots.de to do
that so if you see a green or yellow icon instead of the tab image
it's that this page it's not indexed in the website so try the most
visited pages =) ] you can see that the favicon changes also ;)  .

* You can drag the "First tab" only to see what kind of interactivity
there is. So when dragging a tab, the  " options " bar appears [at
bottom] and you can drag the tab into a folder / tag , share it or
send it to someone via email. The drop is only available in " Folders
" .

* You can also try the pie menu " the Circle " =) on clicking on the
option icon on the top right of the screen.

* You can see History, add tabs, close them, browse in the tab you've
opened and slide them [to slide, you should open many tabs]..

{ Some Bugs =D }
* There is two additional kinds to switch between tabs.If you use the
" tab switch " which is the second one at right, you should have two
tabs opened. After using it, please reload the page if you want to
continue browsing pages in tabs.

I forgot something =),
there is an additional bar under the tabs bar, it should be used as a
personal bar but here i used to give links to see notifications when
having new mails or new feeds.

Sorry but I forgot another thing x) , it's that the address bar
include some Ubiquity commands which will be used to search ... . The
commands are : Searching on  google : "google THEQUERY " ; searching
on Wikipedia : "wikipedia THEQUERY"; looking for a map : "map
THELOCATION". And for the " Circle " it's used as a browser menu 'File
- Edit ... " and include some other functions to share ... ( you can
see some options on clicking on "File" or "Share" and scroll using
arrows with the first icons ).

Concerning the " Add-on button " it can be replaced by an "options"
button, "help" or something like that.

Hope that I haven't forget another thing to say about the prototype
=),

Amine.
