Summary: A "Play Engine" is a platform that allows people to
collaborate and build explorable environments so that anyone can share
content and applications on common interests.

Description:
Lets assume that everything is now web based, content and all tools.
You are therefore moving away from the need to have a system for
managing tools and content on your PC, to the need for a system for
managing tools and content on the web. A PC with its tools and content
is an isolated system, you are for the most part in your own little
bubble, where as the web is truly a network of users. Attached is the
poster describing a system that can allow you to manage all the online
content and tools you are interested in, as well as the ability to
collaborate with others. The theme of the attached poster

Prototype:
Firefox add on extension. http://www.searchtacular.com/widget/ffwidget2.1.xpi

The prototype is in the form of a heads up display that you can move
around to any place on the screen by hovering over the visual cue.
Special thanks go out to Ron Beckman who helped engineer this. I am
hoping to keep developing this further as part of my research at KCDC.
