New Oct Meeting Date

This latest change to the monthly HOA Meeting Date (the 31st) is a VERY BAD IDEA/SUBSTITUTE. Did anyone realize that this was Halloween Day when all of the kids go out Trick or Treating? If we lived in the middle of the US, then the kids would go out on the October 30th vice the 31st like they do here. Did anyone think about this when it was set up?

When did that change? I just asked Lyndsey to confirm the change to the 29th the other day and she did so via this medium.

This latest change was posted on the mailboxes yesterday. The new sheets are green vice the orange that announced the original change. No matter what, the new date is unacceptable. Adults need to be with their kids when they are trick or treating. To top this all of, this is a nationally recognized ocassions for kids and adults alike. Can't believe that anyone forgot that.

I found out about the most recent change of the meeting to the 31st after I posted my confirmation to it being on the 29th. I agree that it is not the best day. If there are any further updates (and if we all have power), I will be sure to post them here.
