MOT2009 Funds raised for Charity

MINIsOnTop is proud to announce the final tally of charity funds
raised during MOT 2009.

With money raised selling raffle tickets for the MINI Cooper lease
donated by Herb Chambers MINI of Boston, the auction for Red Sox
tickets in box seats donated by Hamilton Brook Smith & Reynolds, the
auction of a rare Mini Monte Carlo poster signed by John Cooper and
Rauno Aaltonen, donated by the family of Dan McDonald, and the sale of
many $1 "door prize" tickets purchased to win prizes from Aesthetic
Creations, Attitash Grand Summit Hotel, Bavarian Autosport, Bentley
Publishers, DDMWorks, Detailers Paradise, GBMINI Circuits, George
Constantinou, Greasy's Garage, Jeremy Hosegood, Light In Sight, Loon
Mountain, MINI of Manhattan, MINI USA, Mount Washington Auto Road,
OutMotoring, Oxford Motorsports, Pooch Style, Robert Cahill, Susan
Freda Studio, Tire Rack, Travel Plus of RI, Way Motor Works, and
Whalen Shift Machine, we raised ...

... a total of $11,008 for charities, to be divided between Make-A-
Wish Foundation of Maine, and the Mount Washington Observatory.

In recognition of the height of Mount Washington, the observatory
receives 6.288% of the total, a sum of $692.18. The balance, a sum of
$10315.82, will be presented to Make-A-Wish of Maine (an initial sum
of $1,100 has already been presented, the balance will follow
shortly).
