Subject: MoSync 2.7 is out at last!

Hi!

We have now released MoSync 2.7 and included what we call the Wormhole. With
this new release you will be able to mix HTML5 and C++ as you wish in your
MoSync applications. Wormhole only works on Android and iOS initially.
We have also added NFC for Android, it will be added for Blackberry during
the remainder of the year.
A standard implementation of the Standard C Library and the Standard
Template Library has also been added.

For Blackberry you will now get .jar files which you can either install
directly to a phone or use the rapc tool in the Blackberry SDK to generate
proper .cod files. We have an initial version of Blackberry released in this
version but more will be added later.

We have released a really nice MoSync we think, and I hope you will feel the
same!

So would we use the HTML5 "code" for the UI and then C/C++ for the
code behind? Or is the preferable way still to build MAUI and NativeUI
interfaces directly in the code?

Hi Riccardo!

We don't wanna limit anyone, it's up to you as a developer to choose. If you
feel confident in writing a UI in HTML5 then that could be a possible
solution for you, but if you wanna have the native look and feel for Android
and iOS, then NativeUI would be your choice. This opens up new possibilites
for developers, you can actually write the application logic in Javascript
and use NativeUI for UI, or the other way around.

Aaaah ok - that may make things easier if C/C++ skills are difficult
to come by, but JavaScript skills are commonplace:) Nice work, guys!
